  • Traditional Beldi black soap application
  • Kessa-mitt exfoliation that lifts dead skin
  • Pairs naturally with a massage finish

Who it suits

Anyone wanting a deep cleanse and visibly smoother skin — especially before a weekend, wedding, event or holiday.

How to prepare

Come with clean, product-free skin. Avoid shaving or waxing on the same day.

Afterwards

Skin stays sensitive for a few hours — skip strong sun and harsh products, and moisturise well.

What happens during your Moroccan Bath session

A 60-minute session runs roughly like this. Your therapist adapts it to what you ask for.

  1. Steam to soften the skinYou spend the first 10 to 15 minutes in warm steam, which opens the pores and softens the surface of the skin.
  2. Beldi black soapA traditional olive-based black soap is applied over the body and left for several minutes to loosen dead skin.
  3. Kessa mitt exfoliationYour therapist works over the body with a coarse kessa glove. This is the stage that removes dead skin — you will see it come away.
  4. Warm rinseEverything is rinsed off with warm water, leaving the skin clean and noticeably smoother.
  5. Moisturise and restSkin is moisturised to finish. Many guests add a massage afterwards while the skin is warm.

Common questions

Moroccan Bath questions, answered

What is a Moroccan bath?

A Moroccan bath, also called a hammam, is a traditional cleansing ritual using steam, Beldi black soap and a kessa exfoliation glove to deeply cleanse and soften the skin.

How long does a Moroccan bath take?

A standard session takes 60 to 90 minutes. We recommend 90 minutes to include a relaxing massage finish after the exfoliation.

Is the Moroccan bath good for the skin?

Yes. The kessa exfoliation removes dead skin cells, the black soap deeply cleanses and the steam opens pores. Most guests notice noticeably softer skin straight after.

Can I add a massage to my Moroccan bath?

Yes. Our massage and Moroccan bath combination is currently AED 249 per hour — ask us on WhatsApp when you book.

Will the kessa exfoliation hurt?

It should feel firm but not painful. The mitt is deliberately coarse, and pressure is eased on sensitive areas. Tell your therapist if it feels too strong at any point.

How often can I have a Moroccan bath?

Every two to four weeks suits most skin. Exfoliating more often than that can leave skin irritated, so we usually suggest spacing sessions out.
