How to prepare

Wear or change into loose clothing — no oil is used. Avoid a heavy meal in the hour before your session.

Afterwards

Drink water afterwards and keep the rest of the evening easy. Mild next-day soreness is normal after deep work.

What happens during your Thai Massage session

A 60-minute session runs roughly like this. Your therapist adapts it to what you ask for.

1. You change into loose clothingWe provide a cotton top and trousers. No oil is used, so nothing needs washing off afterwards.
2. Work starts at the feet and legsYour therapist uses palm and thumb pressure along the legs, following the sen lines that Thai massage is built around.
3. Assisted stretchingYou are guided through supported stretches for hamstrings, hips and lower back. You stay passive — the therapist does the work.
4. Back, shoulders and armsPressure moves up through the back and shoulders, often with you on your side, then along the arms.
5. Neck and a slow finishThe session closes with neck work and a few minutes lying still before you get up.

Before you book

Tell us before booking if you are pregnant, have had recent surgery, a fracture, a disc injury, severe osteoporosis or uncontrolled blood pressure. Thai massage involves stretching and firm pressure, so we may recommend our Arabic or full body oil massage instead.
